TFNBs update time.

Despite the constant rain and usual long line, our Sunday grocery distribution was the smoothest we have ever seen. Our community liaisons and outreach teams have built healthy relationships with the various groups that inhabit Allan Gardens and we would again like to thank all of the community members that we come in contact with, who continue to display kindness and compassion.

What we could really use now are some drivers who can help with our logistics teams. As the need in the park grows, the summer is also opening up for people enjoy the city and surrounding areas, and this is squeezing our wonderful driving teams. We can’t stomach the idea of pressuring our drivers to do more so we would like to see if anyone else is willing to help. Lots of flexibility and options for this. Reach out. Lots of lovely wholesome people on these teams.

Our supply challenges have been well documented in our updates and are a clear and ongoing process. If you would like to help us in this regard, a neighbourhood food drive is a great option. Simply contact your friends and neighbours and set up drop off points with people who have a little extra space and then have our teams come by for a pick up. If you have a more ambitious ideas feel free to contact us at
This can also be used for direct etransfers with the preferred password of carrots.

As is tradition, here are some shots from Sunday’s distribution.

Love and Solidarity.
